The PHOVIA® system
Uses chromophore gel, applied to the skin
When excited by light from the PHOVIA® LED lamp, the chromophores release Fluorescent Light Energy.
While most light systems are limited to a single wavelength, addressing only one layer of the skin, the PHOVIA® chromophores release Fluorescent Light Energy at multiple wavelengths, addressing simultaneously different layers of the skin to support the skin’s own regeneration mechanisms.
Studies have shown that skin regeneration can occur up to twice as fast in combination with conventional treatment which in turn can help decrease the duration of conventional treatments normally required (1)(2) click for references.
